ILI and AAI are hosting a joint site visit to the Bord Gais Networks Services Centre site at St. Margaret’s Road, Charlestown, on Saturday 19th November.
Topotek1’s landscape architect Martin Reid Cano will lead a tour of the landscape design with the Architect Roland Bosbach of Denis Byrne Architects. Numbers are limited – please RSVP to the ILI administrator as soon as possible to guarantee a place.
The new Bord Gáis Network Services Centre is located where urban development meets rural landscape. The site strategy seeks to integrate the urban and the green by setting the required car parking and loading areas in a new park-like landscape that provides environmental, aesthetic, and sheltered amenities to staff and visitors.

Please note you must have PPE to gain access to the site: Hard hat, safety glasses, site boots, luminous jacket & protective gloves (fingerless acceptable). The contractor will not let anybody on site without full PPE - you have been warned!
