The next element in the construction of our showgarden was the rustic wooden gazebo.
Further to us completing the specifics of the design, this work was undertaken over a period of approx. two weeks of the build by Christy Collard of Wood Spiral Designs (with volunteer helpers).

This rustic wooden structure features a reciprocal roof, a design not seen at Bloom before. Using Larch and Douglas fir thinnings from a Wicklow woodland makes it an excellent example of a low impact and eco-friendly building. These timbers are weather resilient fading to a natural silver colour over time and do not require toxic treatments to preserve them. I wanted to include the round windows and arched doorway in the design. The spiralling mosaics in the stack wood wall add a natural artistic element that creates a striking backdrop for the surrounding plants.
I have included a planted green-roof for this structure also using , Stipa "Bridal Veil" (Grass), thrift (pink flower), Oriental Poppy (White), Sagina subulata (Irish Moss) and Mint.
Most of us are fund of creating our home more beautiful. With that we put something in it that would satisfy us like gazebo for us to go and relax. Though gazebos are being personalized and also are made in a unique way for it to look more attractive.
